What: Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™
When: November 4 – 7, 2024
Where: Barcelona, Spain
Description: As always, we have a number of Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™ events, and this one is taking place in Barcelona, Spain. Attendees will mostly hear from Gartner speakers and have opportunities to learn about and discuss topics such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, business digital transformation, emerging technologies, strategic planning, and more. While we don’t expect anything extraordinary from this event, if you’re based in Europe and can’t attend another Gartner conference, it might still be worth visiting.

They promise to bring together over 40,000 attendees and a number of cybersecurity expert speakers among which are representatives of SoftBank Investment Advisers, Google, Bayer, Microsoft, Amazon, Coca Cola, Unilever, Rapid7, Schneider Electric, and many others. If you decide to visit the event, you will be able to connect with more than 500 CISOs and other industry professionals.

They also note that around 60% of attendees are company executives and directors.

Description: Likely one of the largest and most prominent autumn events, WebSummit will bring together over 70,000 attendees and more than 1,000 distinguished speakers, including Pharrell Williams; Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President at Microsoft; Meredith Whittaker, President at Signal; Lidiane Jones, CEO at Bumble; Eshan Ponnadurai, Global Head of Consumer Marketing at Meta; Robert Habeck, Germany’s Vice-Chancellor; Jessica Sibley, CEO at TIME; Kuo Zhang, President at Alibaba.com, and many more outstanding experts. Although the exhibition floor is sold out for this year, we believe it’s still worth considering attending WebSummit to hear from some of the greatest minds in tech.
